Marines of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit sit in the turrets from which they returned fire after being ambushed by insurgents with an improvised explosive device and small arms fire Oct 27. The Marines are members of Combined Anti-Armor Team One, Weapons Company, Battalion Landing Team 1st Battalion, 2nd Marines.

From left to right appears to be a Mark 19 Automatic Grenade Launcher, TOW 2 Missile System, 50 Cal machine gun and a Squad Automatic Weapon or M60? on the far right vehicle.
