The U.S. Navy recruit training involves a change in the life, discipline, responsibility and physical makeup of the newly enlisted. It is highly important to take the opportunity before arriving at Recruiting Training Command (Boot Camp) to prepare yourself. You must take care of your personal responsibilities (bills, etc.) before arriving at RTC. There will be very limited opportunities to address your personal responsibilities during your training.
Basic training will help prepare you to become a vital part of the U.S. Armed Force’s efforts to protect America’s freedom at home and abroad utilizing the core values of honor, courage, and commitment.
