The Air Force offers on-base lodging facilities that are open to active duty, retirees, and DoD civilians who are on PCS and Temporary Duty (TDY).
Fort MacArthur Inn is located about 20 miles from Los Angeles Air Force Base. It is a residential community that provides for personnel stationed at base.
Room rates range from $39.00-52.00, with one and two bedroom suites ranging from $48.00-$54.00.
Reservations are accepted for ‘Space Available’ Guests up to 120 days in advance.
Fort MacArthur Inn provides

Westwind Inn Lodging is another facility that provides lodging for PCS and TDY, located at the Travis AFB, In California.
The Westwind Inn offers 560 guestrooms and is the eighth largest lodging operation Air Force wide.
Servicemembers on PCS or TDY orders have priority and are permitted to make a reservation at any time of day for any time of year.
They offer a 24- hour arrival point for all Active military personnel and their families. The temporary lodging facilities are offered to accommodate families up to six members. Visiting Quarters are available for Individuals and/or couples without children.
