2022 Veterans Day Savings for Veterans

memorial day

NOVEMBER 11, 2022 – On this Veterans Day, a few brands are offering discounts for veterans, first responders and active or retired military personnel. From gym memberships, luxury cruises, Caribbean getaways and an exclusive travel club, these companies want to thank all veterans for their service by offering them a chance to exercise, relax and unwind all over the world – at a discounted price.

In honor of Veterans Day, Crunch Fitness has announced its new national partnership with ID.me, a secure digital identity network that simplifies how individuals verify and share their identity online. Participating locations across the country are offering active military, veterans, and first responders a seven-day free trial gym membership and an exclusive offer, including $0 enrollment and $3 off standard recurring dues on Peak Results.

Lindblad Expeditions is offering military veterans and active-duty service members a 20% discount on eight itineraries that feature moments of military significance across three destinations: The South Pacific, Europe and Japan. Encounter World War II relics and shipwrecks on remote South Pacific isles, delve into post-war peace efforts on a journey to Japan or trace the events of D-Day across Normandy’s beaches and bluffs. The National Veterans and Military Families Month offer is available exclusively to active-duty military and veterans on select 2022 and 2023 departures for new bookings made November 1 through 30, 2022 only.

Holland America Line offers military personnel (active, retired or veteran), healthcare workers, first responders, teachers and educators $100 onboard credit per stateroom. Travelers can choose from more than 500 itineraries throughout 2024 upon verification of status for an opportunity to sail the high seas across all seven continents.

Veterans Day is the perfect time to look at how we can help those who served our country get what they need. For millions of veterans, that’s access to stable, reliable, and flexible work. Hiring Our Heroes, an organization that connects the military community to jobs with American businesses, is now partnering with Instawork, a flexible work platform that connects hourly workers with shifts in hospitality, food and beverage, and light industrial settings. Veterans – plus transitioning service members and military spouses – can now use this app to easily find flexible, well-paying work right from their phone. Thousands of Instawork Pros have already added a military community profile badge to their account, making it very easy for businesses who’d like to support veterans to locate and book them for shifts.

With Veterans Day around the corner, all military members, active or retired, can save 10% on their trip to any Sandals Resort or Beaches Resort. Choose from options like a romantic getaway to the brand-new Sandals Royal Curaçao, which offers the brand’s first-ever off-site dining program, Island Inclusive, expanding all-inclusive dining options to eight partner restaurants around the destination. Another great choice is Beaches Turks & Caicos for a relaxing vacation perfect for the whole family, where kids can vacation with their favorite Sesame Street characters at Camp Sesame. Sandals & Beaches Resorts thank veterans for their service and look forward to providing them with a luxurious all-inclusive getaway!
TRAVEL CLUB

Heroes Vacation Club is a free membership travel club for active and retired police officers, firefighters, medical professionals, military personnel, teachers and all other government employees. Based on the philosophy that these hard-working individuals deserve the best, the standard Heroes Vacation Club membership is free and provides immediate access to seven-night resort stays for $379 and up to 25% off hotels, plus one-stop booking for car rentals, cruise, flights and over 345,000 vacation activities. Members who upgrade to a paid premium membership ($99 annually) receive even greater value, with seven-night resort stays for $369 and up to 60% off hotels worldwide. Whether you’re booking a dream getaway or a quick weekend trip, Heroes Vacation Club provides a one-stop-shop for all your vacation needs.

CreatiVets’ goal is to offer opportunities for relief and healing for the men and women who have sacrificed so much for our country. Their purpose is to use various forms of art, including songwriting, visual arts, music, and creative writing, to help disabled veterans cope with service-related trauma (i.e., post-traumatic stress, or PTS) by fostering self-expression in a way that allows them to transform their stories of trauma and struggle into an art form that can inspire and motivate continued healing. Through compassion, they are helping veterans live again.
