The USA is home to the strongest force in the world, so the military sector of the nation is active. There are many academies where students can enroll to start their studies while also carrying out military duties.

Also, there are different levels of military colleges in the States, from high school to college and general graduate level. If you happen to be an aspiring military student looking for the perfect college, then you just found the ideal article to dead.

Here are the top military colleges in the U.S.

1.  United States Military Academy

Located in West Point, New York, USMA is known for being the oldest military institution in the US and one of the best military service academies in the US.

This military Academy is a four-year service institution that focuses on the production of cadets in all arms of the military. With a perfect focus on physical activities and academic sessions, USMA has produced some of the best senior military personnel in the US. Also, they have the most extensive alumni base in the country.

2.  US Naval Academy

Like the USMA, the US Naval Institution is a four-year academy that conveys a Bachelor’s degree just like every other college. However, what makes this Academy different is the ranking system, as successful graduates of this college automatically become midshipmen.

Located in Annapolis, Maryland, this institution follows STEM, so only students in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics can enroll. This move, of course, is to improve the technical workforce in the department of the US Military.

3.  US Merchant Marine Academy

The USMMA is one of the USA’s major military training service academies. Founded in 1943 in King’s Point, New York, this college is one of the most demanding colleges in the world, known for training corps and throwing different intellectual challenges at senior military cadets.

Like most service academies, the US Marine Academy provides a perfect combination of educational and physical exercises, producing quality class marine corps in the country.

4.  The US Coast Guard Academy

Despite being one of the smallest federal service institutions, the US Coast Guard Academy has produced a lot of legendary officers.

Like most institutions on this list, this school is a four-year college focused on producing commissioned officers in all the arms of the US via the Military-Leader Track program. Also, students of this program are eligible for ROTC scholarships, which give them access to several bonuses and credit offers, as well as special study grants. Though the program is competitive, many trainees have passed with good records, and the acceptance rate is moderate.
