Job Fairs Offer Prime Opportunities for Employment, Career Changes

AUGUST 24, 2023 – VA, in collaboration with non-governmental organizations, hosts a series of monthly job fairs across the country for service members and Veterans.

Whether you are looking for a job or considering a change in career path, attending one of these fairs in-person or virtually can be an excellent way to start or advance your civilian job search.

These career fairs provide a venue for employers that are interested in recruiting military services members and Veterans, but also an opportunity for the job seeker to meet and interact with a wide array of employers at one time.

Job fairs present a chance to network with employers, strengthen interview skills, make new professional contacts, learn additional information about prospective employers and deliver your honed elevator pitch.
