NASHVILLE, TENN., December 13, 2013 – The U.S. Army Office of the Chief of Chaplains announced its approval of Financial Peace Military as appropriate for use in stewardship training. That office conducted a review of the materials with chaplains from several major faith traditions to determine if the training was supportive of soldiers’ faith practice and stewardship. Financial Peace Military, hosted by financial expert Dave Ramsey, equips military personnel and families with the tools and motivation that result in true behavior change. Through the nine-lesson course military personnel are able set themselves up for long-term success.
For many faith traditions, stewardship training includes the wise management of not only finances, but also an individual’s talent, time, energy, and property. The Army Chaplain Corps review of Financial Peace Military found the training materials supports individuals in these areas. Financial Peace Military includes lessons such as career building, investing, relationships and money, and eliminating debt. More than 60,000 military families have experienced the benefits of Financial Peace Military.
