
JUNE 9, 2026 – The Marine Corps Heritage Foundation announces the 2026 Summer Concert Series lineup at the National Museum of the Marine Corps. From June through August, audiences will be able to enjoy six free, family-friendly evenings featuring premier U.S. military ensembles representing the Marine Corps, Navy, Army, and Air Force. Each concert begins at 7 p.m. on the Museum’s entry plaza, weather permitting.
Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets. The Museum, Tun Tavern and Museum Store will remain open until 6:45 p.m. Outdoor concessions will be available during the performance. Admission and parking are free and open to the public for all concerts.
June 9, 7 p.m. | Quantico Marine Band: Established in 1918, one of the Marine Corps’ oldest professional musical ensembles, the band features both ceremonial and concert elements and performs a wide range of music—from traditional marches to contemporary favorites—along with specialized small ensembles including jazz, brass, and rock groups.
June 18, 7 p.m. | U.S. Navy Band Sea Chanters: As the Navy’s official chorus, the Sea Chanters perform a wide range of music—from sea shanties and patriotic standards to Broadway and contemporary selections—delivering a dynamic and engaging vocal performance.
July 2, 7 p.m. | U.S. Marine Drum and Bugle Corps & U.S. Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps: Celebrate America’s 250th with a special joint performance. This concert brings together centuries of military musical tradition in a dynamic and patriotic program.
July 30, 7 p.m. | U.S. Air Force Band Airmen of Note: Based at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, D.C., the Airmen of Note is one of six premier ensembles of the U.S. Air Force Band. Established in 1950 to carry on the legacy of Major Glenn Miller’s Army Air Forces dance band, the 18-member group—including one vocalist—performs a dynamic mix of big band and contemporary jazz.
August 20, 7 p.m.| U.S. Navy Concert Band: As the premier wind ensemble of the U.S. Navy, the Concert Band presents a wide array of marches, patriotic selections, orchestral transcriptions and modern wind ensemble repertoire.
August 27, 7 p.m. | “The President’s Own” U.S. Marine Band: Enjoy an inspiring evening of patriotic favorites, popular selections, and wind band classics for the grand finale of the Summer Concert Series.
