JANUARY 9, 2026 – Fugue is the newest debut guest on the current Honkai: Star Rail banner. The game has entered its second phase which gives players about a month to pull her. Fugue works as a strong replacement for Harmony Trailblazer or as a role-filler for Break teams. Her Super Break buff to allies is essential for improving their stats for such a niche effect. Here’s how to make some of Fugue’s best builds during this update.

🏋 Fugue’s Strengths & Weaknesses

Fugue works best as a Support for her teams. She provides special buffs for Super Break abilities that party members have, so she primarily works well for Break teams only. While this can be a disadvantage if you lack the members necessary, her buffs are absolutely insane and worth it for the right team. She can also work as a replacement for the Harmony Trailblazer as mentioned before. Definitely pick Fugue up if you need it. Need some help getting new characters? Find an hsr top up here today!
Unfortunately though, her lack of versatility does come back to bite her. Since she’s only great for Break teams, she’s not worth trying to pull unless you can make one. Fugue is also worth replacing strictly the Harmony Trailblazer. For any other Trailblazer path, Fugue’s not really needed nearly as much.

🏺 The Best Relics for Fugue

For Fugue’s abilities to reach their max potential, there’s a necessary Break Effect requirement. Whenever she surpasses the 220% Break Effect stat, she will unlock a special bonus ability depending on the Relics used. Those same Relics or a mixture of some can also help increase this stat. By finding the right combo, you can make Fugue a Support Super Break beast for any Break party.
| Ranking | Relics | Descriptions |
| 1 | ☄️ Thief of Shooting Meteor ☄️ | 2-PC: Increases Break Effect by +16% 4-PC: Increases Fugue’s Break Effect by +16%. When she inflicts Weakness Break on an enemy, she regenerates +3 Energy. |
| 2 | 🔩 Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge 🔩 | 2-PC: Increases Break Effect by +16% 4-PC: If Fugue’s Break Effect is 150% or higher, she ignores 10% of the enemy target’s Defense when dealing Break damage to them. When her Break Effect is 250% or higher, the Super Break damage they deal to enemy targets additionally ignores 15% of the targets’ Defense. |
🗿 The Best Ornaments for Fugue

Instead of having multiple pieces of a Relic, Ornaments are simply one piece that can be activated for Fugue. It’s essentially an add-on for the Relics for an extra bonus. Her best Ornaments help increase the damage against enemies who are Fire resistant. Fugue is a Fire character after all, so any Fire weakness helps on her end.
| Ranking | Ornaments | Descriptions |
| 1 | 💎 Talia: Kingdom of Banditry 💎 | 2-PC: Increases Fugue’s Break Effect by +16%. When her Speed reaches 145 or higher, her Break effect increases by an extra +20%. |
| 2 | 🏮Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern 🏮 | 2-PC: Increases Fugue’s Speed by +6%. When she hits an enemy target that has Fire Weakness, her Break Effect increases by +40%, lasting for 1 turn. |
⚡️ The Best Light Cones for Fugue

Fugue’s signature Light Cone massively increases the effects of her Break buffs. Since she works as a Support for Break teams, this increase is absolutely huge and should be pulled when possible. If you already have Fugue pulled, then go ahead and try to pull her Light Cone from the 5-star banner. You won’t regret it!
| Ranking | Light Cones | Descriptions |
| 1 | 🏠 Long Road Leads Home 🏠 | Rebirth: Increases Fugue’s Break Effect by +60%. When an enemy target’s Weakness gets broken, there is a 100% base chance to inflict the “Charring” state on it, which increases its Break damage taken by +18%. |
| 2 | 🔥 Never Forget Her Flame 🔥 | Immolation: Increases Fugue’s Break Effect by +60%. When entering combat, the Light Cone increases her Break damage along with her teammate who triggered combat by +32%. If there is no teammate who triggered combat, the Light Cone applies this effect to Fugue and the teammate with the highest Break Effect. Effects of the same type cannot be stacked. When the Fugue applies Weakness to an enemy target, she recovers 1 Skill Point. |
| 3 | 💪 Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat 💪 | Glance Back: When Fugue hits an enemy and it isn’t Ensnared, then there is a 60% base chance to Ensnare the hit enemy. Ensnared enemies’ Defence decreases by -12% for 1 turn. |
| 4 | 🎮 Before the Tutorial Mission Starts 🎮 | Quick on the Draw: Increases Fugue’s Effect Hit Rate by +20%. When she attacks enemies that have reduced Defence, she regenerates +4 Energy. |
| 5 | 🩺 Solitary Healing 🩺 | Chaos Elixir: Increases Fugue’s Break Effect by +20%. When she unleashes her Ultimate, the Light Cone increases DoT dealt by Fugue by +24% for 2 turns. |
| 6 | 🦌 Eyes of the Prey 🦌 | Self-Confidence: Increases Fugue’s Effect Hit Rate by +20% and increases her DoT by +24%. |
🌟 The Best Team Comps for Fugue

Fugue’s biggest downside is that she has very little versatility when it comes to parties. Her buffs as a Support only apply to Break characters and teams to increase their damage output. Put Fugue anywhere else and she won’t be able to do nearly as much. If you’ve managed to pull some other Break team members, then Fugue can be easily paired alongside them.
