WASHINGTON, D.C. – On December 27, 2012, thousands of sports fans, service members and their families will enter into the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial (RFK) Stadium in Washington D.C for the 2012 Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman.
Game day goers will watch the Bowling Green Falcons take on the San Jose State Spartans and those fans who cannot attend will be able to watch the game live on ESPN at 3:00 p.m. EST. DHS Systems LLC, creator of the Deployable Rapid Assembly Shelter (DRASH) will be present at this year’s game in support of the United Service Organizations (USO).
The company will provide two heated DRASH MX Shelters to serve as a military hospitality suite, and two DRASH TMSS Large systems to serve as both a fan zone and warming shelter. The hospitality suite will be located inside the stadium whereas the fan zone will be located in the Military Village on the DC Armory Mall.
DRASH MX Shelters each provide 442 square feet of useable space while the TMSS Large system provides more than 1,120 square feet of usable space, includes a 12-Ton ECU, and allows for the use of up to 33 kW of power. TMSS systems are currently part of the U.S Army’s (Standard Integrated Command Post System (SICPS).
“We are happy to support the USO in its effort to spread awareness and support of the U.S. military through a game that Americans are passionate about,” said Willie Craig, DRASH Business Development Representative.
