Enrolling in the Army ROTC Basic Course does NOT require a commitment to serve in the Army unless you are the recipient of an Army ROTC scholarship. Army ROTC requires that you be a US Citizen, over 17 years of age. Some other requirements are that you take the SAT or Act by November of the year you apply, and that you maintain an excellent academic record.
