You do not have to have prior military service to join
the Army Reserves. How do you join the Reserves? There are two ways.
- You can enlist or
- You can become an officer.

You must be between the ages of 17 and 34, a US citizen (or a registered alien), and be mentally, physically, morally fit.

What the Army Reserve can do for you.
As an Army Reservists with Prior Service, you can train for a new MOS in the Army Reserve. Additionally there are many ways you can benefit from enlisting in the Army Reserves.
