Telehandlers for the Military

MARCH 2, 2023 – What ideas do we have about the technology used in the armed forces? Tanks and armored personnel carriers immediately come to mind. Presenting this, we lose sight of the auxiliary equipment, which is extremely necessary for the normal functioning of the army – construction equipment. One such type of auxiliary equipment is a telehandler, https://machineryline.uk/-/telehandlers–c399, which is a must buy for any army.

Why do we need telehandlers for the army in Europe?

These machines are able to perform the work of the widest profile: the deployment of reaction forces, the transfer of forces and materials in a matter of hours (ammunition, fuel, food, medicines and equipment). Telehandlers are suitable for loading and unloading, as well as moving building materials and cargo, supplying metal structures during construction, performing various earthmoving, agricultural, lifting, transport and finishing works.

One of the key advantages of telehandlers is their compact layout, which makes it easy to maneuver in tight spaces. The machines can be used on littered sites, in the immediate vicinity of engineering structures, buildings and structures. The design of the chassis of the telehandler makes it possible to move on difficult ground in the absence of a hard surface. Used on a number of models, industrial tires with increased lugs further increase flotation.

Dieci brand models are a prominent representative of telehandlers suitable for the armed forces. Dieci equipment is ideal for use in the army, as it has been developed in accordance with the requirements: it is very durable thanks to the use of Swedish steel, which endows the telehandler with such qualities as reliability and shock resistance, increasing the service life, which allows you to purchase even a used telehandler without fear.

The Dieci Apollo model is practically the most compact model in the line, the characteristics of which meet the basic requirements for the army:

  • Compact and highly manoeuvrable
  • Ability to work in tight spaces
  • Load capacity 2.5 t and lifting height 6 m

You can buy such a telehandler in Europe from the manufacturer.

The Dieci Pegasus 50.21 full swing telehandler is the best on the market when it comes to material handling. Built in Europe, the Pegasus telescopic handler is a military paint job, it is quite a “standard” machine designed to move heavy loads, has a good power reserve and load capacity, is easy to operate and maintain, and is also extremely reliable and can be used with safety and comfort in harsh climates conditions.

  • 360° turret rotation
  • Automatic control inversion
  • Self-leveling outriggers (make it easier to work on uneven ground)
  • Adaptive Stabilization System (allows the machine to work safely regardless of the boom extension by adapting the permitted working area depending on the boom extension)
  • Compact dimensions

A used telehandler of this brand has a nice price in Europe and will justify itself if you buy it, as it will last for many years thanks to its reliable assembly.

These characteristics make the full rotatable telehandler the ideal tool for logistics applications where jobs are required to be performed with surgical precision and under tight deadlines, with application flexibility to quickly adapt to the unpredictable conditions typical of a military base context.
