Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) is a program that supports the overall quality of life for single and unaccompanied soldiers.

The BOSS program encourages and assists single soldiers opportunities for recreational and leisure activities. Any BOSS event is open to all MWR patrons, and guests may also participate in any BOSS event.
There ARE 3 KEY components in this program and they are:
Quality for life, recreation and leisure, and community service.
The QOL component is anything that will enhance and directly or indirectly influence their lives with morale, personal growth and development.
With any recreation or leisure event,, soldiers will primarily plan the events and take part in the roles of seeing over the events.
Community service is an opportunity to participate in local programs and events that will help and make a difference in other people’s lives. BOSS members plan and execute community service projects with national programs such as Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Habitat for Humanity, Adopt-a-Highway and Special Olympics. They have also initiated programs such as BOSS Against Drunk Drivers (BADD) and Adopt-a-Soldier, which concerns soldiers being isolated during holiday seasons.
