Basic Training for the National Guard

Basic Training for the National Guard is identical to that of Army Active Duty and Army Reserve recruits. During the 10 weeks at Basic Combat Training, individuals learn about the fundamentals of being a soldier, from combat techniques to the proper way to address a superior.
