ROTC information

The two year program is intended for the person that has finished junior or community college, is beginning a two-year postgraduate study, is a high school graduate planning to attend a Military Junior College, or is entering their junior year of college. In order to be eligible for this program the student must attend the Leader's Training Course for five weeks.

imgThe four year program consists of the Army ROTC Basic Course and the Advanced Course. The Basic Course is usually taken over two academic years. Classroom courses include military history, leadership development and national defense.

After completing the Basic Course a cadet moves to the Advanced Course which includes such classed as tactics, ethics, and professionalism. At the National Advanced Leadership Camp a cadet participates in real life situations that refine leadership skills. This occurs between the Junior and Senior year of college.
